Solid Foundations

This may be one of the most well-documented houses! We have records of every major purchase or upgrade, which provides a detailed history of the house.  For now, let's start at the beginning.  Here's a slide show of the foundations being built in 1954.  Yes, we also have the architectural drawings, but they are not digitized.  As you view these slides, notice the double-studded walls in the bathroom.  Are the doubly-protected cement blocks obvious? Certainly the care of the workmen, and the attention of the owner, are obvious.  Most of all, one sees this house is solidly built, and on sound foundations.  Enjoy!
